Da Vero Biologico Nero d’Avola 2022 | Organic

A fantastic, affordable organic Nero d'Avola sourced from the north-west tip of Sicily. The vines are Guyot-trained, and grown at around 250m altitude on a combination of soil types. Once the grapes are picked they are macerated on the skins for 8-12 days, then racked and allowed to complete malolactic fermentation. The nose reveals fresh black fruit aromas so often associated withNero d'Avola with a hint of spice.  The palate is full of rich plum and bramble fruit characters with a lingering dark chocolate and cherry compote finish. Try alongside pizza or pasta dishes.
