Meticulously hand grown and harvested Pinot Noir grapes are fermented in both stainless steel tanks and oak barrels to create this supple, silky wine with terrific black fruit, cherries and spice. Sancerre's soils and techniques are very similar to those of Burgundy and it really shows in this bottle. If this was from the Beaune it'd be twice the price.
