Domaine des Tourelles Rosé 2021

Grown up Rosé from Bekaa Valley. Domaine des Tourelles Rosé shows a dark, orange-tinged pink in colour. Composed of a blend of 40% Cinsault and equal parts Tempranillo and Syrah. Cinsault is the key player in this blend, giving juicy red berry fruit characters, with Tempranillo and Syrah adding structure, power and a savoury spice finish. Pair with spicy antipasti, trout steamed with chilli or grilled lamb.Vineyards used for Domaine des Tourelles Rosé are located in the Western Bekaa, with the grapes coming from 15–20-year-old vines on sandy limestone soil. 100% manual harvest takes place. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for 10 days. The Syrah component of the blend undergoes a short maceration and bleeding (a rosé saignée), while the Cinsault and Tempranillo are directly pressed.
