Villa Wolf Pinot Noir 2022

Warm and medium-bodied, with a firm acid structure. It's dark cherry fruit is juicy, ripe and forward, with a spicy mid-palate. 12 months of barrique ageing gives the wine a smoky depth and a nice touch of earthy tannins. Germany is often overlooked when it comes to Pinot Noir, but Villa Wolf have produced a brilliant example, very grown-up and an excellent value for money for everyday drinking.
