The driest expression of Sherry, with only 20% of the finished wine being removed from Solera in one year. Fernando de Castilla Classic Manzanilla shows pale, straw yellow in colour with a tangy, yeasty and salty nose. Brisk and crisper on the palate than its older sibling Fino, showing soft apple and citrus fruit flavours with an attacking savoury nutty tang. The finish is salty and the perfect match with almonds, crisps or tapas dishes. Perfect in a half bottle.
