Fletcher Langhe Nebbiolo d'Alba 2021

Elegance, finess and sophistication. Three words that best desribe the sheer quality on offer here. Light on its feet with a bright red fruits of cherries, sour cranberry and wild strawberry balanced with a subtle touch of white pepper, almond and spice. Don't be fooled, the tannins are grippy and poweful but so finely tuned. This will work beautifully with food!

100% Nebbiolo hand harvested from two different regions on the Langhe; Scaparoni (Alba) and Montà (Roero). The grapes are detemmed with an open ferment with punching down every-other-day. Fermentation takes place anywhere from two weeks to two months, with the wine then being transferred to 300-litre old French oak barrels for 13-14 months. No fining or filtration takes place once bottled.
