Maxim Cheurlin Noëllat took over from his grandfather at the youthful age of twenty and is producing some of the most striking wines from a small parcel of sought-after vines. Georges Noëllat's 2018 Vosne-Romanée has a beautifully fragrant nose of wild strawberry, raspberry and red cherry fruits accompanied by subtle Vosne-spice. Juicy fruits on the palate mirror the nose with well-balanced tannins and acidity alongside a long and silky finish. Drinking well now, through with undoubtedly get better with age. A versatile food-friendly wine to pair with any dish in particular duck or venison.
