Gonzalez Byass Leonor Palo Cortado is aged for at least 12 years and described as the 'wild child' of Jerez. Leonor has masses of toasted hazelnut, almond and vanilla aromas. The palate mirrors the nose with nuttier and spicier notes on a long, perfectly integrated finish. Palo Cortado is one of the rarest styles of Sherry as it comes about by accident, this is one to try with cold cuts of meat, cheeses or simply crisps and olives. Lovely!
