Rive Barbera d'Asti shows a deep garnet colour with aromas of dark black cherry and prunes with with a touch of chocolate, mint and earthy undertones. Rich and voluptuous with vibrant red currants, black cherries and a touch of spice showing on the palate. Well-balanced with a taught acidity and fine oak tannins. Always a firm favourite and a great Italian food wine to accompany any rich, gamey casserole dish or mature cheese.
