A stunning release from Joseph Perrier - this Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature 2011 is a zero dosage (no sugar) 100% Pinot Noir vintage Champagne! The grapes for this wine are from Cumières and come from a single Premier Cru parcel named the Côte à Bras that happens to neighbour a vineyard that contributes to one of the world's most famous deluxe cuvée. Golden straw yellow in colour with an enticing nose of freshly squeezed citrus fruits - grapefruit and mandarin. The palate opens with pronounced mineral notes, layered alongside zesty lemon and toasty oak characteristics. Delicate, lively and pure with a bone-dry finish. This is one of the best Champagnes we've tasted for ages and is, we think, an absolute steal for the money. Presented in a sleek, paper wrapped tissue with vineyard sketching's, this really is premium packaging.
