The iconic bottle of Joseph Perrier deluxe cuvée Josephine was originally created by Joseph Perrier for his daughter's wedding, as it was the best possible wine he could create. Launched for general release in 1982, there have been only 11 vintages of this incredible wine. The label has been lovingly updated with a new [in my opinion much improved] design for this 11th release. The 2014 is intense, yet delicate and elegant. It will age for a decade or more, but I would happily enjoy bottle after bottle right now, as it is drinking wonderfully.
