Rathfinny Estate Classic Cuvée 2019

Moving on to the recent release, the 2019 Classic Cuvée is based on a blend on a blend of 44% Pinot Noir, 41% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier with stainless steel tank fermentation and 36 months lees-ageing in the bottle before release.

In the glass this wine shows a radiant golden hue with a welcome nose of red apple giving way to a rich lemon meringue palate complimented with red berries and a rich crème pâtissière finish. Freshly 'English' in style with a lasting freshness and acidity. A versatile, food-friendly Sparkling that will pair well with a classic battered cod and chips, pan fried scallops or simply enjoyed on its own.
