Roebuck Estates Blanc de Noirs is a delightful but serious sparkling wine. Only released when there is an exceptional year, the grapes are hand-picked from their picturesque Roman Villa Vineyards. 100% Pinot Noir, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in Burgundian oak barrels for 48 months.
This opens up with complex notes of baked apple, stone fruits, cherry, and brioche with a touch of spice. Rich and broad with caramelised apple, baked berry fruits and a toasted brioche. The finish is complete and textural with orange peel, spice and baked tart notes. Plenty of zippy acidity. This will age gracefully. Pair with smoked salmon, oven-roasted chicken or cheeses. A brilliant single vineyard offering!
