Established in 1171, Schloss Gobelsburg is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in the Kamptal region of Austria. Heiligenstein is an outstanding single vineyard Riesling crammed full of every fresh stone and orchard fruit of pears, apple and apricots to peach amd citrus. There's a wonderful, textural richness backed up with a fine spiciness and mineral streak on the finish. Tasting delicious already, this has plenty of room for ageing.
