Stopham Estate Pinot Blanc 2022

Stopham Estate Pinot Blanc 2022 is the drier of Stopham Estate's white wines showing delicate, pale lemon in colour with lifted aromas of primrose, grapefruit and pear. The palate is zippy and brisk with lots of honeydew melon, sweet fennel and subtle spiciness on the finish. Lovely and well balanced with a crisp acidity running throughout. A great introduction into English still wines. Great on its own, or paired with white meat dishes, this is a worthy alternative to any Alsatian Pinot Blanc.

Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Near Pulborough in the South Downs National Park. Stopham Estate six-hectares of south-facing vines, composed mainly of German varietals, with a smidge of traditional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, are free-draining with the perfect micro-climate to produce excellent English still wines. Simon practices sustainable farming, by employing careful soil management, encouraging natural biodiversity and integrated pest management. The flock of Stopham farm animals provides organic fertiliser to enrich the sandy soils.
