This release is no different.Composed of a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir from both Dermot's Mount Harry and Storrington Priory vineyards. With maturation in Burgundian oak barrels and 6 years bottle ageing, this has gained exceptional complexity whilst retaining freshness and purity. Lovely golden amber in hue with a tranquil bouquet of stewed apple, rich stone fruits and layered biscuit and oatmeal characteristics. The palate is unmistakably English, combining fresh orchard and stone fruits flavours balanced alongside savoury toasted pastry and honey notes. Long and richly textured on the finish.
