Coterie by Wildeberg Chenin Blanc Grenache Blanc is a brand-new listing for us, and what a show stopping wine it is for under £15! Made by the talented J.D Rossouw from Wildeberg estate, this is a brilliant blend of 65% Chenin Blanc from a 60-year-old Franschhoek vineyard, and 35% Grenache Blanc from Paarl, both naturally fermented and aged for 6 months in 2nd and 3rd fill 600 litre barrels. These two grapes work in harmony together, producing a wine great tension and balance. There's tropical peach, apricot and citrus married with a hint of jasmine and a long, honeyed finish. Rich, yet fresh and textural. Coterie by Wildeberg is a fantastic South African white that will pair well with Thai green curry, creamy pasta dishes, or simply enjoyed on its own!
